    Default IGM BB Code Guide

Brought to you by myself and Toucan.

As you all probably noticed, the BB code has been implemented and is now in full working order. But, for those who have any questions I decided to make a quick tutorial on the features.

    The New Look:

The new icons for the BB code are directly under the Subject line.

    Features:

    1. Bold

    2. Italic

    3. Underline

All the same BB code as on the forums.

    Example:

    Before:

    After:

    4. Alliance

    5. Player

    6. Coordinates

    7. Report

    Example:

    Before:

    After:

    Notes:
    • Alliance:
Both alliance tag and ID work with the tags to create a link to the alliance's profile. (The ID is the numbers at the end of the link to their profile.)
    • Player:
Same with the alliance, both the alliance tag and ID work to create the link.
    • Coordinates:
With the coordinates tags I found putting any of the following will work:
      • 0|0
      • 0,0
      • 0.0
      • 0/0
      • 0a0
      • 0-0

Apparently any Non-nuemerical character separating the two will work. (This even includes a space)
    • Report:
The BID (Berichte ID or report ID) which again is the numbers after the "=" in the link. You may see two sets numbers separated by a pipe bar. The first set is the ID number (The one that is all numbers).

Also putting the link to the report, without the [report] tag will create a link to the report.

    8. Resource Icons

    Each has it's own ID.

    Wood: [h]

    Clay: [l]

    Iron: [g]

    Wheat: [e]

    9. Smileys

Same as the resources, each has it's own specific ID, and there are too many to list here.

    10. Troop Icons

The code for troops goes by their troop ID number. (i.e. The Roman tribes first troop, the Legionnaire is [tid1] as well as the actual name of the troop within brackets such as [legionnaire].)

    11. Preview Button

Used to check the BB code within your messages. Same as it is here on the forums, it will show you what the recipient will have on their end.

    Final Notes:

The list tag also works, (bulleted list, not the numbered) It mostly just seems to indent and place a[*] next to it.

    Example:

    Before:

    After:

That's the only other BB code that I know of that works. I'll try some more, if anyone else finds any that do let me know.

Color works as well, the code is slightly different from the one on the forum. (No quotes around the name of the color)

    Example:

    After:

    You can also quote:

Here's the different ways to quote:

    What they will look like:

**Special thanks to Tineren for the color and list details.

    Comments and suggestions welcome!
