S4 Alliance Analysis

I think I understand why the word 'anal' is in the word analysis. The dreary job of compiling this info is a pain in the ******* ***.

In and beyond that, we've included a fair amount of data for you all to read up on and discuss. Spreadsheets are included in the zipped attachment at the end of this post (Simply download the attachment, drag the files to your desktop, and double-click the .html files to read), and a graph comparing overall scores is at the end of this intro. We've researched everything from population to number of alliance chiefings, attack scores to defense scores, number of villages to number of top players, and averages for almost all of that. In all 16 researched categories, rank was determined, and then added together to come up with each score. Comments from both myself and Tuffany are included, and we have ranked each alliance profile from 1 - 3 pwnys and wolfies.

Profile - 3 pwnys & All 3 of Da Wolfies
Comrade - Plenty of medals on the whole, although the original wings have a distinct lack of defender medals. If you didn't already know, it looks like WP has never actually had a major contender for the SW quad. WPBOHICA made a original medal lineup (Arranged by week rather than type of medal) which I found refreshing.
Tuffany - I'm glad Comrade finds the arrangement of BOHICA's medals refreshing, maybe now he'll wanna partake of our snaky treats Also the main wing of WP mentions PWNY so I'm sure dem PWNYs will like that.

Profile - 3 pwnys 3 Wolfies
Tuffany - The Failcake maked me cry when he took away the confederacy with WP, heck they even did away with their NAP with PŰP. They's a bunch of stone cold killers. That's probably why everyone loves them.
Comrade - Truly, one of the most talked about alliances on the server, PWNY has by far the most attacker points per player (The next best is WP, with 20,000 attack points less per player in it's meta) and the most defender points per player (Next best is CDOR, with a little more than a third of PWNY's defender points). Pound for pound, PWNY seems to be the best alliance on the server.

Profile - 1 pwny for lack of info and lack of flash. 1 Wolfie (Boring!) No medals?

Comrade - Solid stats all around, almost silent profiles, and no medals on there to speak of, I'm not sure what to say here. PACK is in the top 10 attackers and defenders this week, although AFNE isn't, maybe they'll show off the medal?
Tuffany - Seems a many of the PACK are a bit uptight, maybe that's why they don't display their awesomeness.

Profile - 2 pwnys for a lack of coordination between alliance profiles. 1 Wolfie for having ikky ASCII art.

Tuffany - I have to say, for the amount of trash talked about these guys they have a lot more top heros, attackers and defenders than most alliances on the server. While they like to mash as many players together as possible, they have actually done some good work throughout the server. Plus they have a sweetiepie leader

Comrade - SE has the 2nd most pop (Behind WP) and the 2nd most players (Behind #). At this size, SE is seemingly being crushed by it's own weight. I would suggest either trimming out the fat, or breaking everyone down into smaller battle groups to make a more effective meta on the whole.

Profile - 2 pwnys for decent quotes. 2.5 Wolfies (I have to admit I'm a sucker for those of the booklurnt literary type, Kipling and Hemmingway )

Comrade - A nice defensive rating, admittedly nothing fancy at first glance but good averaged out per player, CDOR seems to be sitting well in the SW. A decent smattering of medals again, but nothing exceptional.
Tuffany - Seems these folks may be smarter than the average alliance. Who knows though since they don't make public any of their confederacies or NAPs. They do have some lovely averages though.

Comrade - I'm not sure why the Confed with PHX exists. A nice smattering of medals, although nothing outstanding. I would suggest either trimming out the fat and get the entire alliance in one wing, or picking up enough players to fill out new with some talent.

Profile - 3 pwnys for some amusing inside jokes. 2.5 Wolfies, I love this "All diplomatic issues should be hand written on heavy stock bone paper and then crumbled up and thrown in nearest waste receptacle."
Comrade - Ahh, the great "farmer" alliance of the NE. Good selection of medals, although nothing Defensive or Climber oriented, my only real problem is that you are a farmer alliance and you have NAPs.
Tuffany - They seem to be smart, though they have made some interesting decisions. 3 top attackers isn't too shabby, but they don't recognize their second wing on their profile, wonder why...

Tuffany - They have a lots and a lots of the climber medals, way to grow guys!! In looking at their profile I found that they actually have more NAP's than what are officially listed. HITP* and
EHJ are on that list but not official. Sekret hidded NAPs be naughty, but meh, it's the NE everyone in the NE is NAPed with just about everyone else, so it's not surprising.
Comrade - I would suggest either completely removing the NAPs from your profile, ANE, or at least making sure everyone's diplomacy section matches. Kudos on winning a NAP from the supposed farmer alliance in the NE, though.

Comrade - A distinctly second-tier alliance, ABT has both wings in the top 20. Decent average Population, Attack points, and Defensive points, you seem to be holding your own, although nothing flashy.
Tuffany - I'm beginning to wonder about the NE, I mean most of the quad is NAPed. How does that strengthen you as an alliance at this point folks?

Comrade - These guys are another alliance I've never heard of before. Towards the bottom end of the stats, these guys are in the SW with an odd cluster near the western border. Nothing particularly interesting to say, although they are apparently an 'alliance with experience from last round.'

Comrade - Haven't even heard of these guys before doing this alliance analysis. Apparantly you're going for a 'deep, deep out in the NW, beyond the newbie ring' approach to endgame. Their stats aren't too absolutely terrible when you take into account that no one is even slightly close to them.
Tuffany -These guys tend to be pretty quiet and pretty danged removed from the rest of the server. I wonder what they will do come end game.

Tuffany - I really dont' know much about these folks. They don't really have much to make themselves stand out in a group of alliances.
Comrade - An alliance that has 3 wings in the SE, ™ ® ™ has managed to exist. Nothing particularly interesting about the stats, I would venture a guess that these guys are people who dislike the SE meta, can't get into PWNY, and are doing their best at sticking together and avoiding conflict.

I'm sorry, if I added you to the analysis, I'd screw up everyone else's rating.
