Let's look at some numbers again... the forum has been fun lately, however, I have the time right now, I am not sure if I will have the time later in the week.
I am making some changes and making some comparisons to make the analysis somewhat more fun to read! I am going to get into the comments a little more, all the comments are my personal opinions from what I read and analysed from numbers, enjoy: TNT ( TNT, *TNT*, .TNT. ) Map Wings: 3 NAPS: None public Quads: SW/SE Members: 164 Members (previous analysis): 158 Growth: ~ 4% Total Population: 469397 Average Population: 2862 Total Population (previous analysis): 405566 Average Population (previous analysis): 2567 Average Population Growth: ~ 11% Total Offensive points: 1493149 Average Offensive: 8922 Total Offensive points (previous analysis): 1126863 Average Offensive (previous analysis): 7132 Average Offensive Growth: ~ 25% Top 20 Largest Players: 11 Top 20 offensive players: 14 Top 20 Heroes: 13 Score of 20's: 63 out 100 Comments: They are still the strongest uncontested alliance in the server, the numbers don't lie. Some people may ask: "Why, why, but why? This must be a conspiracy to dominate the server and mock the noobs! How can they possibly do that without cheating?" No my friends, it is not cheating, they might be mocking the noobs, but who doesn't like mocking noobs? This is strong leadership and strong recruitment. TNT plays a very cut-throat style game. They recruit the best and weed the rest. Since they only have 3 wings divided between two quadrant, they have a lot of farms and more space to grow, why make friends if you can attack and farm them? That's why you don't play cuddle-the-neighbor-so-he-doesn't-attack-me style Travian! Until we have an alliance that start playing as hard, I really can't mock them... ![]() __________________________________________________ __________________________________ League Of Normal Gentlemen (LoNG I, LoNG II, LoNG III) Map Wings: 3 NAPS: None public Quads: NE Members: 148 Members (previous analysis): 151 Growth: ~ 2% Total Population: 379266 Average Population: 2511 Total Population (previous analysis): 308254 Average Population (previous analysis): 2083 Average Population Growth: ~ 21% Total Offensive points: 697499 Average Offensive: 4619 Total Offensive points (previous analysis): 517338 Average Offensive (previous analysis): 3495 Average Offensive Growth: ~ 32% Top 20 Largest Players: 2 Top 20 offensive players: 2 Top 20 Heroes: 2 Score of 20's: 10 out 100 Comments: LoNG has been accused by TNT to be simmers just like the rest of the North, however, in this analysis you can clearly see that they had a better growth in population and offensively, with a smaller player growth, which means they did not recruit as many big players just to buff their numbers. So where did those numbers some from? It is too much work to find out. Well, we will have to wait and see if they can keep up with those numbers, maybe they will go to war against another NE alliance and show S8 that the North can put diplomacy aside and let the sword speak for once? Wishful thinking?__________________________________________________ __________________________________ The Black Watch (TBW, TBW_B, TBW_C, TBW_D, TBW_DD, TBW_VV, TBW_V) Map Wings: 7 NAPS: RofT, RofT~E, WAR Quads: NW Members: 355 Members (previous analysis): 273 Growth: ~ 30% Total Population: 528693 Average Population: 1489 Total Population: 319193 Average Population: 1169 Average Population Growth: ~ 27% Total Offensive points: 528760 Average Offensive: 1489 Total Offensive points: 260506 Average Offensive: 954 Average Offensive Growth: ~ 56% Top 20 Largest Players: 1 Top 20 offensive players: 1 Top 20 Heroes: 0 Score of 20's: 3 out 100 Comments: If I was to tell a joke, it would go something like this: "Did you ever hear about that alliance called TBW with 7 wings?" I hope I had some laughs! Well, I am not even counting the other 3 Conf. Let's be honest here, you guys could easily drop 4 of those Wings, merge the better players, and farm the hell out of rest and have a much better alliance, some people will argue that you could do even better, but I am not getting into that. Their average growth is really high, specially offensive, but most of the gain was from Vipers' players who joined them. The NW is a joke right now, hopefully we will see some action and some house cleaning. Anything good to say? "We are in aggressive expansion mode!" I would change to "Care bears come rub my tummy symbol!"__________________________________________________ __________________________________ Judges (Judges, Judges 2, Judges 3, Judges 4) Map Wings: 4 NAPS: None public Quads: NW Members: 206 Members (previous analysis): 179 Growth: ~ 15% Total Population: 310411 Average Population: 1506 Total Population (previous analysis): 215247 Average Population (previous analysis): 1202 Average Population Growth: ~25% Total Offensive points: 275143 Average Offensive: 1336 Total Offensive points (previous analysis): 171753 Average Offensive (previous analysis): 959 Average Offensive Growth: ~ 39% Top 20 Largest Players: 0 Top 20 offensive players: 0 Top 20 Heroes: 0 Score of 20's: 0 out 100 Comments: Another alliance that benefited from the disband of Vipers, some of their stronger players joined and boomed their numbers a little. I still don't understand why they have so many Wings, they could easily weed some of their dead weight and show they are serious about the game, two of their wings are laughable, one is extremely mediocre and only their main wing is worth mentioning. The alliance is only around because the NW is a hug fast and they have been flying under the radar for too long. If, as promised, the NW start having some action, I hope we see this alliance following Vipers' footsteps pretty soon; however, I have a feeling this will not happen. __________________________________________________ __________________________________ Bomb Squad (BS, BS+) Map Wings: 2 NAPS: None public Quads: NW/NE Members: 94 Members (previous analysis): 68 Growth: ~ 38% Total Population: 222134 Average Population: 2363 Total Population (previous analysis): 122777 Average Population (previous analysis): 1805 Average Population Growth: ~ 31% Total Offensive points: 364460 Average Offensive: 3877 Total Offensive points (previous analysis): 191299 Average Offensive (previous analysis): 2813 Average Offensive Growth: ~ 38% Top 20 Largest Players: 2 Top 20 offensive players: 1 Top 20 Heroes: 1 Score of 20's: 7 out 100 Comments: The alliance that benefited the most from the disband of Vipers, the highest population and player growth. Really strong main wing and really weak second wing, secondary wing could easily weed most of its players, we see players with three digits population, if that's not enough of a sign that the players is dragging behind, I am not sure what else can be done to show "Hi, I am a farm, however, I got lucky and my alliance will save me... /cheers!" Will BS shake the North or will we have even more hugs and kisses going around? Enjoy it... |

Nice analysis
I'd like to know what the numbers say about those guys. Yea I know they are a huge, mostly useless collection of farms, but they are giving TNT defense and offense points and that can't be overlooked ![]() |

Of course they can be overlooked. Honestly they were the last hope for the south to throw off the iron rule of TNT... but now the real last hope is me and anyone who will team up with me once the challenge is called.

We're half as good as TNT.
Now, if we could just find the other half (heh, NW, where are you?), maybe we could actually have some sort of contest on this server. I should point out that you did your math wrong though. We actually lost members (a couple of deletes from our midtier do to various RL issues) compared to your last analysis, so our growth in members is actually negative, not positive. That means that you've underestimated the population and offensive growth of our remaining members. |
