Now comes another segment of "Alliances That I Give A **** About!". This time we'll be discussing the Northeast.

OBRR (Outlaws/Bandits/Renegades/Raiders) -

General Comments: By far the largest meta alliance, OBRR holds most of the power in deciding the fate of this epically-failing quadrant. They have been around since the beginning and have continuously swept their ranks clean of the farms that usually plague large alliances. gWg made the first steps toward solidifying the NE with the "U|" branches of alliances. Then... poof! gWg (known as Aegis) merged with OBRR and the "U|" meta was no more. Um... now what? OBRR has continued gWg's quest of a unified NE by starting diplomacy with PRiKs and LTMA.

Plans for the Future: Obviously solidifying the NE. They seem to be interested in both PRiKs and LTMA, the two single-wing powerhouses of the NE. With slight hostilities and a few skirmishes between the two, OBRR may have to step in to keep the peace. Will the hostility between LTMA and PRiKs keep the NE a mess (as it always has been) or will OBRR grant gWg's parting wish of a unified NE true? With a unified quadrant, the NE is very much in the running for a server win.


PRiKs (Paladins of the Rugged Isles Kingdom) -

General Comments: Pure awesomeness pours from the pores of every member. C'mon, it's a little unfair to do an analysis of one's own alliance, isn't it? Oh, what the hell. Why not? PRiKs are a strong defensive power as always, but also have had a few nasty offensive stings on the enemy. Uncharacteristic for them, but so far it has played to their advantage. They've been around since last round and have a large amount of returning players that make up the core of the alliance. What is making them bigger and better than last round is the experience of the returning members and the new spark from the new additions.

Plans for the Future: Being a very close-knit alliance, they will most likely not merge into OBRR as gWg has. The most likely outcome is that they will become a wing of OBRR with a tag to indicate their loyalty. Before any of that happens, though, they need to get sorted out with LTMA.


LTMA (Less Talk More Action) -

General Comments: The name says it all. LTMA is all about in-game action, and does not care for commenting on the forum much. They were formed shortly after the server began from a fiery squad of gWg players. They eventually merged into -=A=-.... and then un-merged and picked up a few stragglers from -=A=-. They are a very strong one-wing alliance and not one to be taken lightly. Recently, OBRR has shown interest in them with a NAP.

Plans for the Future: Merging with or becoming a separate wing of OBRR. They have already taken one step with a NAP, and a confederacy will most likely follow soon. If they share the dream of gWg and OBRR, then a peace agreement must be reached with PRiKs.

Additional Outside Information: LTMA tried diplomacy with PRiKs... but that idea was apparently shot down almost instantly by PRiK leadership.


NEC (North East Confederation) -

General Comments: Re-formed out of the smoldering ashes of the super-epic fail that was referred to as "XX", this NEC is a much more compact alliance. Consisting of just a main wing and a training wing, NEC-BC, it seems that they have quite a large number of trainees. So far, they haven't shown me anything interesting to comment on.

Plans for the Future: Dunno

SFC! (Spiffy's Fan Club!!) -

General Comments: SFC sort of... appeared out of nowhere. Most of its members are noobs and/or farms and write extremely entertaining mail back to their farmers. Their leader, the impossibly egotistical Spiffy from the Travian.us forums, has sifted through the litterbox of server 5 players to find the cat droppings that he created his alliance with.

Plans for the Future: Obviously, the easy domination of the NE quadrant is in the sights of this new alliance. Perhaps they will get bored around 8 months into the server and take over the remaining three quadrants just moments before endgame begins. Then SFC will most likely chief all of the Natar's villages and happily cranny up and sim for the rest of their lives.

*Special Note* SFC does not actually exist.


Unity (We Stand United) -

General Comments: Hmm... We Stand United. Rings a bell, doesn't it? Oh yes, one of my favorite metas from last round: UWS (United We Stand). At the end of the server, they held two WW's, zero sets of plans, and couldn't take a quadrant so they stayed in the middle. Epic Fail on multiple levels.

Plans for the Future: I don't know much about Unity, so based off of their name alone... they fail. Based off of their relationship with NEC... they fail. Sorry guys, better luck next time!
