How to change your registered email address

To change the email address registered to your account:

Go to Profile, then Account. Under "Change Password" there is now an option for "Email-Adresse ändern". Yes, it's still in German and that needs changing, but that's where you can edit the email address. Note: The headings are now in English.

Enter the relevent email addresses:

Click save. The following box shows up:

Now, two emails are automatically sent out (one to your current address, one to the new address). In these emails are codes.

Hello [Account name], You asked for your e-mail address associated with your Travian-Account on gameworld [server name] to be changed. To do so enter following code in the input field called "Old E-Mail code" in your profile's account settings: Code: QKGZM You will receive another e-mail at your new address also containing a codesnippet you have to enter in the input field called "New E-Mail code".

To do so enter following code in the inputfield called "New E-Mail code" in your profile's account settings: Code: 4BVVF You will receive another e-mail at your old address also containing a codesnippet you have to enter in the input field called "Old E-Mail code".

Enter the relevent codes into the relevent box:

If you did it right, you get this:

E-Mail successfully changed.

If you enter the wrong current email, you get the following error message appear:

Old E-Mail invalid

If the new email is already used, you get this error message:

New E-Mail already in use

If you change your mind mid-way through the process, you can click the red X next to E-Mail change is in progress and it will cancel the process.
