Top 10 us2 Alliances: The Analysis

Ok, we are really close to end game. Long gone are those days when our good friend the “old deadpool” used to provide us with that weekly dose of entertainment he used to call “The WhiskeyJack weekly analysis report”. Really miss your reports buddy!

7 out of those 10 alliances are still in the top 10 in some way, shape or form.

Since then, the pecking order has basically gone unchanged.
But I guess it’s as good time as any to take a look at the current state of the server.
Without further ado I give you, “The informer’s completely unbiased (wink, wink) state of US2”

10. BAM-BOO (Formerly MPP)
Forum Celebrities: BBH1, Tank

Their size would immediately prompt you to ask. Why are they here??
Lots of reasons.
a) BAM-BOO has become the punching bag of the SW.
b) They might as well go back to their old name MPP (Meatshield Protection Program). Bam-boo has basically become BAM’s meatshield all together. What’s even funnier is that within BAM-BOO there is full network of meatshield factories.
Don’t believe me? Well, can’t blame you. But lets look at this:

Those reports are only from yesterday. But this is the 6th week in a row that BAM-BOO gets hit hard.
Overall, MPPs population hasn’t really seen big dips though. So, you might be wondering… How is that even possible!? They are still the top 4 alliance!

If you haven’t been paying attention, the answer is a rather simple one.
All they do is replace the players that get hit or delete with players from their minor leagues or what I call “The meatshield factory”.
Awesome stuff, huh? In spite of completely sucking as a whole... This well thought out plan of building meatshield factories has gained them a top 10 spot in my weekly alliance rankings.



9. Hades
Lots of wings normally = lots of meatshield and while this statement might hold a lot of true in this case. It’s also true that this is a group of very motivated players.
Led by a very motivated gal.

8. MSC

Dropped confed with WVF and are in cahoots with RH?


7. BAM-BAM (Formerly Heros)

I’ve heard some travian folk stories that tell that Lothar has one of the biggest and most epic WW killers in the server.
I’m pretty sure he isn’t the only one “packing” in that alliance.
There is no good indication that they’ll ever turn on PH. But we’ve seen all kinds of crazy things haven’t we? I’m talking to you us6!

6. YAPA-AH (Formerly YAPA + RotF + OR)
Forum Celebrity : The Cat Goddess
Still learning how to work together. Lots of strong personalities but also lots of loaded cannons. They are likely to become the “X” factor in the WW race.

5. WVF
Forum Celebrity: Pinky
Who are these guys with?

4. BAMerang (some Storm +lots of ~DH~ + bigger players from other smaller SE alliances)
Same as below.

3. WHAM BAM (Formerly Storm)
Forum Celebrities: Tivon, Tolstoy, Blah.

Population wise the #2 alliance in the server. They wiped out all of their quad competition at the beginning of the server but since then have gone into full simming mode.
Lots of people would put them up there with PH. But Storm has never really shown they have the genital fortitude to send their armies away from their comfort and cozy corner in the NE.

We have heard them complaint about other quads simming:

All we heard them saying is that they wont send their armies on 48 hr. trips.
Me thinks lame excuse.
For all the reasons above the committee one (me) can’t rank them better than 3rd.

2. RH (Formerly HFE + RotF)

General membership morale has exponentially increased since Velvet’s departure (We wish her good luck in all of her RL endeavors by the way.)
The fat has been trimmed and RH leadership is back in full *** kicking mode.
Very much still a contender for end game honors.

Still the number 1 pound by pound alliance in the server. And the only non SW alliance to ever send their troops into a cross quad battle.
This people really put their money where their mouth is. Leadership leads by example and general membership needs very little to no in game guidance.

For the most part, fairly accurate other than your rank 2 and 3 alliances.

Storm has, on numerous occasion, launched attacks into the SW. I find this humorous, and hopefully it will bring some extra life to the forums - however - I am going to call this out as what it is... Propaganda and an attempt to sow distrust amongst the members of the BAM, at which it will fail :P

Congrats to YAPA-AH and Hades for being the only Non meta alliances up there.
