Try again. The reason is similar to the recent San Bernardino school shooting.

He just wants to talk about the ones done by POC and muslims. I haven't even googled it, but I'm guessing it was one of those involved since he thinks it's one that counts.

Weapon used was not conducive to the lefts narrative, nor can they yell about the evil white man, and they don't have to push the workplace violence theory to deny terrorism. It today's terms, that's called a slow news day.

Different Ohio shooting. You don't know either, see the point being made yet?

You make it then. So many mass shootings we can't pick the right one? Only ones where children are involved make it to your news now?
    Enlighten us oh great one.

I googled Ohio nightclub shooting and the national and international news reports don't give me any indication why you think it is so special? Uncooperative (scared) witnesses (gangs?) that probably don't trust the police. Sounds like a prime gun control example to me. Not sure why you wanted to bring it to our attention, but OK, maybe you are coming around?

Prime gun control topic? The area it happened in has some of the strictest gun control policies. Because, you know, gun laws stop bad people from doing bad things.

"The area". Is there a solid wall between that area and... wherever you think there are looser controls? Otherwise exactly what do you think happens? This is a totally stupid part of the argument. If I can buy a gun from some dude in one state and drive over the border to another, what does it matter what their rules are? It has to be federal. Or at least all state. There are so many guns available in the US anyone can get one. Even me.

Gun laws don't stop bad people doing bad things, but if those bad people find it extremely easy to get guns, those bad things are very lethal.

If you ban guns there would be a black market for it and it will sell at higher prices. and some people would blame mexicans for selling guns illegally, since everything illegal is mexican!

No one is saying ban guns. Why don't you have a look at what actually happens when you strengthen the controls? It can be done.

Wait what? Ohio has strict gun control? Sure it's not as freewheeling as Texas, but it's a far cry from New York.

And us -- gun control in NJ is serious. I'm pretty sure I couldn't get a gun here, legally, if I wanted to, and I'm a white man who works for the government with no criminal or mental health history. I absolutely could get one in Ohio.

    www.nraila.org/gun-laws/state-gun-laws/ohio

Compare that to NJ...all gun owners must be licensed here and you can't get one unless you can provide a "sufficient reason," and wanting one, and feeling unsafe, have both been denied as valid reasons for people in this state in the past.

And of course, the murder rate in NJ is lower than Ohio, so take that for what it's worth. (http://deathpenaltyinfo.org/murder-r...ally-and-state)

A sufficient reason would be wanting to exercise your second amendment right. The problem is too many Americans are willing to let the government take their rights away.

The government is taking many of your rights and you want to keep the second amendment only.

They spy on you, they are currently allowing your information be sold online without your opinion ...etc.

Probably they will label any non-mainstream media fake news and censor it.

The problem is, too many Americans are willing to let other Americans have the power to easily take their most fundamental right (to life) away.

Well this has drifted way off course. But seriously, you have one of the highest incarceration rates in the world. One of the only places that still has the death penalty. It's not that. It's having too many disenfranchised people and too many rich ******** ripping you all off. Start playing nice to each other. Stop being nasty fascist racists. And by that I don't mean you personally, I mean as a nation, with your laws. With who you elect, with what you support.

Actually, as far as I know, the Second Amendment was never expanded to include states. The general rule is that the bill of rights/amendments are limitations on **Federal** government, not State governments. (The exception is any right that was expanded by Supreme Court decisions or is otherwise directed more at States than the Feds. Most of these exceptions fall in the category of voting rights.)

TL;DR, I'm pretty sure States are within their constitutional rights to ban guns (unless that's prohibited by their State constitution). I can be corrected if there was a SCOTUS case that expanded the Second amendment to apply to States.

Takes something specifically not attributed personally, takes it personally. Must be a meme in that. The whole world is trending towards nasty personalism/nationalism. It's destructive to everyone, not just those who miss out initially. You engender violence when you give people no other decent options. It's not like we don't know this, it just gets over-ridden in postured revenge or selfihness.

Ah yes. SCOTUS and its misdemeanors. Something done to protect freed slaves from the states gets used for this. They would roll in their graves those old white men.

And cofc, you literally don't understand the meaning of literally in context. You should stop saying ban all guns.

If it were feasible, I would say bang most guns. It's not, so I don't. But having laws where open carry is a thing is beyond stupid.

We have a different idea of rights. Yours pertains very simply to those who already have most and bugger everyone else. Mine (and I think the forefathers) pertain to those who actually need their rights protected (mostly from those like you).

You aren't even American Rok, move here legally, and vote to make a difference.

The Blazin1 does not condone the immigration of Rok to the U.S.
