After "you" genocide almost all the natives, "you" went abroad and killed people from Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia against all the international laws and treaties.

Why would your people need to kill each other if you allow them -those at military mission- to kill others all over the world.

note: she is the former prosecutor general of Crimea when it was Ukrainian, and then she announced that Crimea is Russian!

    back on topic:

So Spicer clearly said that they want to "destabilize Syria" and "destabilize the region" as Trump is falling back to the establishment. and Alex Jones and co. are still believing that Trump is "their" real deal against the evil establishment!

It's the same stupid old "my authoritarian narcissist Constitution-shredder is superior in XXYXYX way to your authoritarian narcissist Constitution-shredder, and since you don't like my ANCS then that means you automatically like all of the ANCSes that I don't like" argument. It gets old pretty quick.

Killing happens on a daily basis, not just in the Middle East. Middle east today is high in murder rate, but so is South America, and even the U.S. has recently seen high number of murder cases.

As does the US. Many of you may not see it because you live in it, are immersed in it, it seems normal reality. It's what you are used to and the religiosity permeates so many aspects of your daily life that it seems just the way things are - but to a member of a more secular society looking in, it becomes very evident.
And now I'll tell you what's against us, an art that's lived for centuries. Go through the years and you will find what's blackened all of history. Against us is the law with its immensity of strength and power - against us is the law! Police know how to make a man a guilty or an innocent. Against us is the power of police! The shameless lies that men have told will ever more be paid in gold - against us is the power of the gold! Against us is racial hatred and the simple fact that we are poor.

Cause solar panels are the antithesis of violence.

Plenty of Muslims here have honor killed their daughters.

I think Meherrin misses the comparison of South America and the Middle East with America. Whole I freely admit we're religious, it's in comparison to other first world countries. We don't hold a candle to the former two regions.

Variance of no true Scotsman. If the doctrine is so easily abused and used for nefarious purposes, and the construct itself was created as a system to control the masses, then is not the doctrine evil as well?

Killing in the name of religion is different than having a cultural upbringing rooted in religion.

I think we can agree that it's not just the religion, but the religion creating a bastardized culture. For instance, Spain is Catholic and fine. But they also aren't as theocratic and extremist.

When religion asks for peace by default, the bad religious people ask for war. you go and say religion is bad.

But when your evil non-religious politics says "the end justifies the means", you say it is better than religion!

Think about it this way, there are a few non religious conmen who got into positions of power and abused it. But there are many, many more instances of those using religion to achieve the same abuses. Since religion was created for controlling people. Religion breeds abuse. It breeds sheep with a Shepard to guide them.

I disagree with atrocities regardless of the source, but they're more prevalent in cultures with strong religious roots.

    Lol?

You know that the Catholics in Spain were literal Fascists, right? Catholics were basically the only international organizations (not counting the ***** or Mussolini) who organized for Franco.

Your argument is one of substituting cause for effect.

People suck, and they do awful things. They're also religious, sometimes. The latter isn't a cause of the former -- it's an effect. People aren't awful because they're religious; they're religious because they're awful. The proof is in the pudding -- good people can make good things happen with religious institutions (ie. liberation theology), and bad people can do bad things with religion (ie. the Spanish Inquisition).
"The Universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice... It is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us, and the voice of our inheritors, waiting to be born. It is the small, still voice that says: we are one. No matter the blood. No matter the skin. No matter the world. No matter the star. We are one. No matter the pain. No matter the darkness. No matter the loss. No matter the fear. We are one. Here, gathered together in common cause, we agree to recognise this singular truth and this singular rule: that we must be kind to one another. Because, each voice enriches us and ennobles us and each voice lost diminishes us. We are the voice of the Universe, the soul of creation, the fire that will light the way to a better future. We are one." ~G'kar

and by you I don't mean normal people, I mean those who really run the country.
