Popular sentiment is he was just interested in writing long winded MM's and simming it up to be the #1 pop player. Doesn't work very well when you are trying to win a server, lol.

I recall seeing BRs of his hammer a few months back.
Now that you're here Yao, I have to say I was impressed by how you had two strong hammers to use. I remember the excitement surrounding the defeat of one of your hammers... until we realized how big your second one was.
Back to the original topic, I've got quite the public history of spying on this server and I might as well share it. There's some stuff I never told most people.
Early on in the server I joined what was back then THD A-O, or something like that. I became a leader in that alliance, and tried to get it into decent shape. With some people I succeeded, with others I didn't. We were getting farmed heavily by Pack and NK, so quite a few people were having a tough time growing.
The whole idea of moving out into the boonies was my idea, but there was another alliance by the name of LIV which had the same idea. We became enemies. When LIV was absorbed by Pack, I got a little cocky around their leader and soon I had catas incoming on my spawn village. Making a thread about it in the forums didn't help much either. DOA wasn't able to provide much in terms of reins... which wasn't anything new. I was kinda tired of it, and jumped on the opportunity to merge with PhxR. We had been friends since the beginning, so it made sense. Little did I know of the havoc NK was creating in PhxR. But the minute I got on their forums, I knew it was about to collapse. Two days later it did, and they merged with Pack. I was lucky enough to have a friend negotiate a deal to have Pack stop hitting me.
Because of the dislike for Pack that resulted from all the farming, most of the members from DOA moved back into DOA. I decided to move on to Pack. Soon I was sending Silent Siren info that I thought was safe to post, through Lynx. I diluted it by dualing with her on S1 and using the notepad to pass on info. This way there was little chance of an IGM from me, her, or one on SS' account to trace me to any leaks. I had recruited Lynx into DOA in late February/early March, and by then we were pretty good friends.
Three months went by, and Silent Siren wasn't using the info I provided. In fact, they thought I was a traitor. I had warned SS not to merge with KoR because of all the spying and farming that was going on. She did anyway, and lost any respect people might have had for DOA. Surprisingly, there was some.
In those three months Pack had grown on me. I was pretty pissed off that Silent Siren was ignoring me, and decided to show her what damage a spy like me could do. Lynx, it turned out, wasn't happy about the DOA-KoR merge either. We teamed up and turned the tables on A-O.
As it turned out, I had made some friends in Pack who tipped me off that there were already several spies in DOA. I had suspected leaks, but now was sure there were some. This meant that I could have even more fun than I had imagined. Lynx and me decided to risk her account in favour of destroying A-O. It was close to imploding due to inactivity and such, we just wanted to give it that last little push. The result was a month of absolute hilarity in which they raved and ranted about the spies, and eventually stopped sending out IGMs. We also forced SS to switch wings because I was using Lynx to see SS' troop counts. We didn't have a lot of large armies in their area, but thanks to the troop counts I was able to get we were able to attack them effectively and efficiently. My neighbours helped take out A-O chiefs and catas that I found. I had such a small hammer because of how often I used my troops... I'd often attack two or three times a week, and the more active A-O players were decent at defending.
DOA had created a forum that they hoped was safe, and had given Lynx access to it. Oops! Revealing that we knew all about LoA hit pretty hard.
Lynx was caught at the end of August, and for the next month I didn't have access to any info about DOA except stuff which other people told me. I used the public forums to put on the impression that I continued to have a spy. All that bashing of A-O wasn't because I hated the people in A-O, but because I needed to convince them that I had a spy. It worked, thanks in part to a few of those friends that I made along the way. In late September I was given sitter and A-O forum access by someone again. A-O tried implementing the two-sitter rule; we simply got all the spies to sit for each other. By late October A-O was still at a stand still, and they were ready to give up. A few days of back and forth IGMing between myself and some of the leaders convinced them to approach Pack about a surrender.
And that's my version of what happened.
